PX-System is a modular acoustic surface for interiors. Air is its visible panel. It works alone as a slim treatment or in front of Studio 200, which adds a 200 mm core to extend treatment toward lower frequencies. Both configurations retain the same 1 082 × 720 mm face.

The textile is chosen for the project. ONDSU can assess and prepare woven and non-woven fabrics beyond those shown in Darmstadt. A sewn cord holds the cover in Air’s aluminium frame. The cover can later be replaced while the frame and acoustic core remain.

Genelec will demonstrate its 8380A main monitor in room 3.06 Xenon. ONDSU-made stands for Genelec speakers are also part of the room setup.

PX-System at a glance

Air’s textile cover can be chosen for each project and replaced later. Studio adds depth behind the same face.

Textile choice
The Darmstadt panels use textiles from Maharam and Knoll Textiles. Other woven and non-woven fabrics can be assessed and prepared for a project.
Replaceable cover
A sewn perimeter cord holds the cover in Air’s frame channel. The cover can be changed while the aluminium frame and acoustic core stay in place.
One visible face
Air keeps the same 1 082 × 720 mm visible face when used alone or with Studio. Air’s construction depth is 22 mm.
Acoustic depth
Studio 100 and Studio 200 are separate options behind Air, not modules to stack. Studio 200 adds a 200 mm core to extend treatment toward lower frequencies.
Concealed attachment
Air attaches magnetically to a concealed interface and can be removed for a cover change. The panel face has no visible fixings; mounting details depend on the project.
Core material
Air has a 20 mm polyester acoustic core, with no mineral wool or foam. Actual acoustic performance depends on the finish and installation.
