ONDSU is a Berlin acoustic design house. We improve how spaces sound and feel through considered design, acoustic expertise, and acoustic appliances we develop ourselves. We work across offices, hospitality venues, studios, and other design-led interiors.
Before anything else, we are designers. Every room we shape and every appliance we build comes out of a deliberate in-house R&D process. A full product line is in development, and the services we run today, acoustic consultancy, interior design, and custom acoustic work, sit alongside it as parts of the same practice.
Design & Technique
We approach acoustics as a design question as much as a technical one. Treatment should improve a room without flattening its character, whether that room already exists or is still on the drawing board. We work with architects and designers at the planning stage, consult on spaces under construction, and take on full interior design briefs where sound is part of the concept from the start.
What we build
ONDSU is a product brand as much as a service practice. We design and manufacture our own acoustic appliances to the same standard as the rooms we shape. Today that includes a modular acoustic panel system we've been refining for more than two years, and custom acoustic furniture for specific briefs. A full product line is in development.
Because we make what we specify, there is no disconnect between analysis, design, and implementation. The thinking that shapes our consultancy and our tools also shapes the appliances we put into a space.
How we understand a room
We believe understanding should come before recommendation. That is why we developed our own diagnostic tools, and why we made them free.
The Acoustic Score is a free, instant assessment. A few short questions about your room, a clear reading of how it is performing, a starting point you can act on. For spaces that need more precision, we run a full Acoustic Analysis: a guided session where we model your room in three dimensions and deliver a clear report with a treatment plan within 48 hours. That one is free too, because the diagnostic shouldn't decide whether acoustics makes it into your project. When a project calls for certified DIN measurement, we bring credentialed acoustic engineers into the team. We call this commitment open acoustics.
